Introducing Rushcliffe Independents

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new party!

We are delighted to announce that Rushcliffe Independents was officially registered with the Electoral Commission on 31st January 2023. We are now one of only 339 political parties in Great Britain!

We founded the party in order to give voters a viable alternative to the major parties. For too long, voters have been left with a dearth of choice at elections. In many wards, voters have only a binary choice between the Conservatives and Labour. The Liberal Democrats have been historically competitive in some areas (such as Keyworth, Musters, and Bingham,) and the Green party has done well in Lady Bay.

However, apart from these outlier wards, voters have been left with a limited choices. We aim to stop this.

We will field as many candidates as we can across the borough. There are 24 wards with 44 seats up for grabs.

Join us.

Best wishes
